Logos Now: A Study on Logo Memorability
Global brand strategy consultancy Siegel+Gale recently surveyed 3,000 respondents in both the US and UK regarding logo designs for more than 100 of the world’s largest and most famous brands.
In order to provide insights on what makes logos successful, the agency set out on a fact-finding mission to determine the following:
• Which logos are most memorable
• Measure the benefits of more memorable logos
• Establish the role of familiarity in logo associations
• Identify which personality traits different logo styles evoke
The agency’s findings, collated in a report dubbed Logos Now, sheds light on the impact of memorable logos and how logo styles evoke distinct brand perceptions and personalities for consumers.
