Nude Brand Creation Gives Royston a New ‘Premium’ Look
Specialist label maker Royston has launched its new brand identity, with design by Nude Brand Creation.
The Hertfordshire-based company, which has 30 years of experience in producing labels, says it wanted to broaden its reach in the food and drinks market with the help of a more “luxurious” brand identity.
The new identity therefore changes from Royston Labels, to simply Royston, and is further supported with the strapline “The Label Experts”.
“A stripped back name feels confident and authoritative,” say the designers. “A new foiled monogram for Royston, in the form of a translucent silver and unfurling ‘R’, conjures up a roll of labels or a flow of ribbon, as well as the business’ seamless processes.”
Other changes include the adoption of a restrained charcoal grey with an accent of aqua, while a hand-drawn font for the visual identity is claimed to reinforce the premium nature of the company’s services, while a break in the ‘R’ mirrors the monogram.
The language is also stripped back with less text and an emphasis on close up images of the labels to illustrate Royston’s “craftsmanship”.
The new branding and identity will be rolled out across all marketing collateral over the coming months, including the website.
