Bedrock Security Reveals New Name and Logo

Data security firm Bedrock Security has rebranded, revealing an updated name and logo design.

From now on known as “Bedrock Data”, the American company specialises in data security and management solutions, especially in the context of cloud computing and generative AI.

They assist organisations in sectors like financial services, healthcare, and biotech to protect their data on different platforms, including software and cloud computing environments.

Their main product is an AI-powered “Metadata Lake” that offers ongoing insight into data location, sensitivity, access, and usage.

“At its core, data security is a data management problem. If you don’t know what data you have, where it lives, who owns it or how it’s being used, you can’t secure it or use it effectively,” says Bruno Kurtic, CEO and co-founder of Bedrock Data, which has this year been recognised as a Fortune Top 50 Cybersecurity Company.

“We built Bedrock to autonomously discover and contextualise data at scale, powered by AI and delivered through an open, integrated, API-first platform that plugs directly into the AI ecosystem through our new MCP Server,” he adds.
