Offthetopofmyhead Designs Logo for New Pet Food Brand – ‘Bella & Binx’

Offthetopofmyhead has created the logo for the new pet food brand "Bella & Binx".

The startup company is set to launch in January 2026 and aims to create sustainable pet food.

Currently worth around £4 billion, the UK pet food market is anticipated to grow by roughly 2.6% annually.

There are about 13 million pet dogs and 12 million pet cats in Britain, with 36% of households having a dog and 29% having a cat.

The company says its mission is "to put sustainable food in every cat and dog bowl", which it plans to achieve through responsible sourcing, waste-aware systems and transparency to ensure there’s no greenwashing.

"The logo needed to buck the trend in the UK pet food market for colourful, cartoonish and cute branding," explains Offthetopofmyhead’s founder and creative director, John Spencer.

Adding: "It had to position Bella & Binx as a company that does things differently. We created a minimalist logo and gave the ampersand a zoomorphic twist that tells you Bella & Binx is all about cats and dogs.”

Bella & Binx is presently collaborating with its nutritionist to devise food formulations ahead of rolling out taste tests.
