I.T. Specialist Govplace Reveals New Name and Logo

Govplace, a provider of I.T. products and services, has revealed its rebranding to "Digital Compass".
"The new name signals a new mandate. Govplace built its reputation in the federal space. Digital Compass reflects where the company is going: a full-lifecycle, outcomes-driven partner for organisations across federal government, state and local government, and commercial enterprise," says the U.S. firm.
"Govplace built something rare: an IT organisation that federal clients genuinely trust when the stakes are highest," further comments DJ Oreb, CEO of Digital Compass.
Adding: "Digital Compass is built on that foundation, with broader capabilities, deeper expertise, and a clear mandate to serve every market where mission and technology intersect."
The organisation, headquartered in Maryland, offers full-spectrum I.T. services to both government and commercial markets, and has reportedly delivered over $1 billion in technology over its 30-year existence.
It was acquired last year by Digital Capital Partners (DigiCap), a private equity firm led by tech entrepreneur Jay Sunny Bajaj.
