Action for the Climate Emergency (ACE) Rebrands, Unveils New Name and Logo

Action for the Climate Emergency (ACE), a climate research and advocacy organisation, has rebranded itself as “GoodPower”, a change that coincides with Climate Week NYC.

The American non-profit combines community organising, empirical research, and online communication to engage the public on the economic and social benefits of decarbonisation.

The new name and identity is linked to GoodPower’s 2030 Strategic Plan, named “Upward Spiral”.

The five-year plan aims to support the development of new products and innovative technologies, while also boosting initiatives in strategic communications, research, and grassroots organising.

“A better and more prosperous economy is just waiting to be unlocked – GoodPower is helping get us there faster,” says CEO Leah Qusba.

Adding: “Millions of good jobs, lower energy bills, a more secure grid, and healthier families – renewable power is good power.”

The rebrand has thus far been well-received by the organisation’s many funders and partners.

For example, Joel Clement of the Lemelson Foundation stated that the rebranding is “deeply aligned with the organisation’s trajectory and what this moment demands”.
