Parker Design Creates New Identity for Inaugural Rugby Aid

Cheshire-based integrated marketing and design consultancy Parker Design was recently commissioned to develop the new brand strategy and identity for Rugby Aid, an inaugural charity match that took place at the end of last week pitting England against the rest of the world in support of Rugby for Heroes.

Teams consisting of celebrities and former professional rugby players took to the pitch at Twickenham Stoop in London last Friday to raise funds that the organisation says will aid military personnel in transitioning from armed service to civilian life.

“Establishing an identity is such an essential part of an event like this, so we were honoured to be chosen by Rugby Aid to design its logo and brand strategy,” said Simon Hallows, rugby enthusiast and current director at Parker Design.

In addition to designing a new logo and brand identity, Parker Design also developed the event’s microsite, print and promotional advertising and an inaugural programme for the match.
