TravelPerk Updates Name and Logo with Rebrand

TravelPerk, a platform for managing business travel, has revealed its new name – "Perk".

According to TravelPerk, the rebranding to Perk signifies "the next step in the company’s transformation", which includes establishing dual headquarters in London and Boston to facilitate its "new phase of accelerated growth."

The refresh is an evolution of a more significant rebrand that the company announced earlier in the year, which was developed in collaboration with consultancy Wolff Olins; it was described at the time as representing a "break away from the current sea of blue within the corporate travel management category".

The company's software helps businesses book, manage, and oversee their corporate travel, including flights, hotels, and even car rentals, all while ensuring adherence to company policies.

In the last 18 months, Perk has acquired AmTrav, a travel management company based in Chicago, and spend management expert Yokoy, in addition to raising another $200 million from investors.

The firm has also introduced an "AI-native module" to its software for automating specific tasks.

This enhancement is said to have allowed for the launch of 'Perk Pay', which enables clients to issue physical cards that centralise spending oversight, minimise fraud risk, and automate expense reconciliation.

Founded in Barcelona in 2015, TravelPerk claims that its platform is currently utilised by over 10,000 companies globally.

This year, it was recognised as the sixth largest travel management company in Europe.
