Sheamoisture Rolls Out New Brand Campaign with Design by JDO

SheaMoisture has launched a new brand campaign for its deodorant collection, with design work by JDO.

Formulated specifically for 'melanin-rich' skin, SheaMoisture's products are described as "enabling black women to fully embrace their freest, most confident selves."

The new campaign revolves around a message of "We Got You", which is claimed to promote "empowerment and community".

"The campaign’s visuals bring this to life, using real, engaging imagery that celebrates black women, highlighting their strength and beauty while underscoring SheaMoisture’s commitment to both natural ingredients and efficacy," says the design team at JDO.

"The campaign needed to connect with black women, ensuring they feel part of a larger community where SheaMoisture is not just a brand, but a true ally," further comments JDO design director Mariana Kertész.

JDO’s NY team was in charge of creating the visual design for the campaign, covering both digital and print.

They also collaborated with independent creative director Amilcar Gomes, who handled the TV spots for the campaign.

"Every creative choice was made to create belief in the brand’s promise to empower through care, protection, and support," adds Kertész.
