Alfa Romeo Unveils Name and Logo of New Concept Car

Alfa Romeo has unveiled the name and logo of a brand new concept car set to make its grand premiere at the upcoming Paris Motor Show next month.
The logo combines a handwritten style wordmark with the firm's traditional badge whose cross and snake-like symbols have roots in traditional Milanese heraldry.
Dubbed "Cuorerosso", the vehicle represents "a manifesto for the brand's future" while its nomenclature "encapsulates the brand's deepest essence".
Alfa Romeo achieves this, the company explains, "by merging two symbols thoroughly rooted in its identity: red, the colour of passion and an unmistakable sign of the Alfa Romeo imagination; heart, the origin of that same energy and symbol of the visceral relationship that unites every Biscione-brand creation with its drivers".
"In Cuorerosso these two elements beat in unison, giving shape to a declaration of intent that goes beyond the name and tells of a car of the future, designed first and foremost to excite," the Italian manufacturer continues.
The company has additionally shared a teaser image of the car, painted in red and with contours designed "for Alfisti all over the world".
