CHILLI UK Rebrands West Yorkshire Playhouse
Leeds-based brand design agency CHILLI UK has created the new identity for West Yorkshire Playhouse that includes a new logo and full range of marketing collateral.
CHILLI was appointed in May following a four-way pitch, and was tasked with capturing the “spirit” of the Playhouse as one of the UK’s main producing theatres.
The designers say the new new brand identity aims to capture the West Yorkshire Playhouse as the “home for storytelling”.
“We’re delighted with the new creative brand as the iconic Playhouse announces a new season line up, as it perfectly captures a unique look and feel, which showcases the storytelling, collaboration and the inclusive nature of the West Yorkshire Playhouse. It was vital that the brand review really captured how the WYP enriches the lives of so many people,” added CHILLI’s managing director, David Whittle.
The new look for WYP forms part of a £14 million redevelopment programme.
