Identity Design for Motorcyle Brand, ‘Iron Lungs’

Iron Lungs is a burgeoning motorcycle lifestyle brand founded and run by husband and wife team Matylda and Brian Mcilvenny.

“I’m an artist/designer, and my husband Brian is a mechanic, so Iron Lungs is a joint project combining both of our interests, based here in Stockholm,” explains Matylda.

The long-term plan for the couple is to transition the business into a full-on custom bike building outfit. For now, though, the range of goods on offer include t-shirts, posters and decorative accessories.

All of the designs, like the main logo itself, feature Matylda’s unique style of hand-drawn typography.
