The Arc Central Chesapeake Region Rebrands, Gets New Name and Logo
The Arc Central Chesapeake Region (‘The Arc’), a provider of support services for people with disabilities, has announced it is rebranding to “Fello”.
Established in 1961 by parents seeking equal rights for their children with disabilities, the American organisation now reportedly assists over 4,000 individuals with disabilities in the central Maryland region.
“The name Fello is a strong reflection of who we are and what we do as fellow neighbours, fellow citizens, and fellow allies working together toward a shared vision – for people with disabilities to live the lives they choose in communities that are equitable, accessible, and fully inclusive,” says Jonathon Rondeau, president and CEO of Fello.
Adding: “We embrace innovation and continued growth and will continue to be at the forefront of adapting to the evolving needs of the community as Fello.”
With the new name, Fello has separated from The Arc Maryland and the national Arc network.
Additionally, its housing and community development arms, Chesapeake Neighbors and Chesapeake Community Development, have now unified under one name, ‘Fello Communities’, which aims to create inclusive and affordable housing.
