Climax Foods Debuts New Name and Logo

Dairy-free cheese maker Climax Foods has revealed a new name and logo as part of a rebranding initiative.
The business has announced it will be named "Bettani Farms" moving forward.
With a revamped brand and strategy, along with an additional $6.5 million raised through Series A funding, the company is hoping to push its proprietary "Caseed" protein ingredient.
The latter is claimed to replicate the functionality and texture of dairy casein, which is essential for the melting and stretching of traditional cheeses like mozzarella, cheddar, and jack, but without the allergens associated with dairy, nuts, or soy.
Bettani's strategic update arrives at a time when consumer preferences are evolving towards high protein and allergen-free foods.
Nevertheless, existing dairy-free cheese products have struggled to achieve widespread popularity due to issues like poor texture, sticking to teeth, inadequate melt-come-stretch capabilities, and insufficient protein levels.
A recent survey indicated that 71% of U.S. adults are attempting to consume more protein – and Bettani's cheeses are said to offer 12 to 20 grams of protein for every 100 grams of cheese.
"Bettani is poised to do for pizza what oat milk has done for coffee," reckons company CEO, Sandeep Patel.
Adding: "Just as oat won coffee over the last five years with its superior taste, mouthfeel, performance, and allergen profile, our Caseed-powered cheeses deliver the melt, stretch, texture, and flavour consumers crave in pizza and other hot foods – without the allergens and high carbon footprint of dairy."
