FS Investments Announces New Name and Logo
FS Investments, an $86 billion global alternative asset manager, has announced it is rebranding and renaming to “Future Standard”.
The transition comes not long after the American firm’s merger with private asset specialist Portfolio Advisors and is said to represent a significant milestone in its goal to become a major player in the alternative investment field.
Having a history of more than 30 years, the firm specialises in what is referred to as the “middle market” in the investment industry.
This segment, which is reportedly overlooked in many investor portfolios, consists of over 200,000 companies that earn between $10 million and $1 billion annually, with 99% being privately owned, making access challenging without the right connections, knowledge, and framework.
“In today’s crowded market, standing out demands clarity, conviction and a commitment to challenging convention,” says Stephen Tisdalle, the Philadelphia-headquartered company’s chief marketing officer.
Adding: “Future Standard reflects how we help optimise our clients’ portfolios with unique and untapped opportunities. This brand gives us the voice and platform to bring our specialisation, skill and ambition to our clients and to the entrepreneurs powering the U.S. economy.”
