Lancia Marks 120th Anniversary with Special Logo

In honour of its 120th anniversary, Lancia has revealed a specially crafted logo.
The Italian automaker, established in 1906 in Turin by Fiat racing drivers Vincenzo Lancia and his associate Claudio Fogolin, intends to display the celebratory logo on all materials related to the anniversary.
The monochrome design features the Lancia name at the top, with the number 120th in the centre.
Lancia describes the design as "a bold, clean, and almost architectural graphic sign".
The word Anniversary is located at the bottom and will remain unchanged in versions outside of Italy.
Both 120th and Anniversary are presented in the same font and will always be shown together, "emphasising the strong connection between the two elements", according to Lancia.
The number 120 is intentionally left incomplete, which the company states "symbolically opens up to the future scenarios that Lancia is ready to face along its path".
Along with the custom logo, Lancia is also launching a special social media campaign dubbed "#LANCIAisYOURS".
The 'social call to action' will be rolled out in the five European markets where Lancia currently operates: Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
"With #LANCIAisYOURS, we want to open up the brand’s story to our community, inviting customers, enthusiasts and new creative talents to interpret Lancia through their own perspective. It is a project that speaks of participation, creativity and contemporaneity," says Roberta Zerbi, CEO of the Lancia brand.
