Lowe to Manage Creative Brand Strategy for Car Maker SEAT

SEAT has awarded Lowe and Partners the bid for management of the advertising and digital account of the brand’s headquarters, as well as eleven countries.

The pitch was led by LOLA (Lowe’s Spanish agency located in Madrid) and HUGE (their IPG sister digital agency) working with other Lowe offices across the network. LOLA and HUGE plan to build an integrated agency team that will be based in Barcelona.

Owned by the Volkswagen Group, SEAT has its headquarters in Martorell (Barcelona), exporting 83% of its vehicles, and is present in 77 countries. In 2012 SEAT had a total turnover of more than 6 billion euros, with overall deliveries amounting to 321,000 units.

The global agency will manage creativity and digital strategy of the Spanish automotive brand as of January 1 2014. The contract will run for the next three years.
