Skin at Peace Gets New Logo and Packaging by Bullish

Bullish, a New York-based brand consultancy and investment firm, has developed a new logo and packaging for the preservative-free skincare line, Skin at Peace.

The latter was founded by Rod Garcia, a medical doctor, and Lindsey Garcia, a licensed aesthetician, who are a husband-and-wife team.

Initially, the brand concentrated on small-batch skincare products for those with rosacea and for pregnant women.

The company started with an offline marketing strategy that focused on aestheticians, understanding their role in promoting the brand and facilitating in-person sales.

This approach eventually resulted in the establishment of a flagship retail location connected to the brand’s manufacturing site.

“Skin at Peace’s narrow targeting was overshadowing its powerful performance, and there was clear potential for the brand to bring its clean skincare products to a much broader audience,” says Brent Vartan, Bullish co-founder and managing partner.

Adding: “By focusing on the fight against preservatives, we saw an opportunity for Skin at Peace to redefine skincare norms and transform the brand into a category disruptor that could scale commercially and culturally.”

“To drive that message home, Bullish built a visual identity system to invert expectations, including an upside-down wordmark and bold packaging,” further comment the designers at Bullish.

The agency not only created a new logo and packaging but also designed a website and a marketing strategy for the company based in West Palm Beach, Florida.
