Investment Bank Equiteq Rebrands, Unveils New Logo

Equiteq, an investment bank and advisor for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), has introduced a new brand identity along with a logo.

The updated design emphasises "emotional intelligence" as a core aspect of the brand, particularly with the new monogram logo that combines the letters E and Q, similar to the abbreviation for the emotional intelligence test known as the EQ test.

"Our new monogram brings together the letters E and Q, a nod to the emotional intelligence that has always been at the heart of Equiteq's identity," says the London-headquartered firm.

Adding: "EQ sits at the beginning and end of our name, a constant reminder that people and relationships are our most valuable investments, the founding principle that sets us apart from other investment banks."

Established 20 years ago by Paul Collins, the firm assists owners of consulting and IT services companies in preparing their businesses for sale and managing the transactions.

Paul’s entry into the M&A field began with his own experience when he sold his consulting firm WCI to private equity for $100 million in 2002.

He recognised the lack of support available to consulting firms in the M&A landscape and chose to create Equiteq to address that need.

Currently, Equiteq claims to be the sole M&A firm focused on the consulting and IT services industry; it also refers to itself as a "global boutique investment bank".
