Mississippi Lime Announces Name and Logo Change

Mississippi Lime, a supplier of high-calcium lime products and related technical solutions, has unveiled a new brand platform and will begin operating under the name “MLC”.

Although still a family-owned company, the business has global ambitions, which the new rebrand is claimed to reflect.

Indeed, the new look comes not too long after the American firm’s acquisition of Singleton Birch, the largest independent lime supplier in Britain, based in Melton Ross.

“Our new brand represents an inflection in our trajectory – defined by a growing international footprint, continuous improvement and innovation,” comments Paul Hogan, MLC president and CEO.

“This new identity will enable Singleton Birch to build on our reputation for quality and service in the markets we serve, while bringing our business and MLC together into a stronger, more cohesive organisation and market presence committed to the future,” adds Richard Stansfield, CEO of Singleton Birch.

Reportedly operating the largest lime facility in the Americas, MLC currently supplies a myriad industries – with steel, transportation, battery minerals, construction, chemicals, energy, glass, and water treatment being just a few of them.
