Harmony Recovery Group Rebrands, Unveils ‘Japanese-Inspired’ Logo

Behavioural health and substance abuse treatment specialist, Harmony Recovery Group, has announced a name change to “Harmony Health Group”.

The identity refresh follows on the heels of the company being bought out by investment firm Thrive Healthcare in late 2022.

Despite being highly fragmented, substance abuse treatment is said to be a fast growing industry.

With its first location only opened in 2015, Harmony Health Group (HHG) currently comprises a network of 10 treatment centres located throughout Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

HHG’s new logo design, meanwhile, has been inspired by Eastern Asian culture, specifically, “Ikiagai”.

“Ikiagai – which translates to ‘your reason for being’ in Japanese, from iki (life) and gai (worth or value) – embodies the concept of finding inner harmony for a happy and fulfilling life,” explains a spokesperson for the company.

Adding: “The pillars of Harmony’s logo – Compassion, Admission, Acceptance and Forgiveness – form the border of the logo and are essential components of recovery and sustainability. Inside the logo lies Hope, Love, Honesty and Mission – the foundation and motivation that drive Harmony’s future.”

Although the new name and logo have been revealed, a full rebrand is expected to roll out in the upcoming months.
