Sugar Creative Studio Helps Rebrand Cardigan Castle

Cardigan Castle is a 12th-century castle located in Cardigan, Ceredigion, Wales.

After a lengthy campaign led by Cadwgan Building Preservation Trust, £12m was secured to return the castle to its former glory.

Cardiff-based digital media and branding agency Sugar Creative Studio was commissioned to rejuvenate Cardigan Castle’s brand. The brief requested a new logo, website, email newsletters and brand identity guidelines.

“We redesigned the outdated brand identity using a variety of techniques—friendly tone of voice, flat colours, improved typography and a photoshoot. We also developed a set of brand identity guidelines to retain future consistency,” explain the designers.
