Architectural Identity Design: Struktura

Struktura is a construction company that specialises in both residential and commercial architecture, including interior design.

Saint Petersburg-based identity designer Sergey Semenov created the logo at the behest of Russian agency Relogika.

Sergey first deconstructed the letter S into two identical triangles, whose three-dimensional wireframe forms he then projected in isometric or perspective view.

An intervening negative space, which separates the postive triangle shapes, plays a critical role in making the S more visually discernible according to Sergey.

The addition of a taut, vertically-stretched typeface further compliments the S and completes the logo-mark.
