Branding for ‘Bud’s’ Edible Flower Food Truck
The food-truck industry in the United States has grown considerably over the past few years, with hundreds of mobile restaurants setting up to cater to the appetites of any given city.
In order to stay competitive, these ‘Meals-on-Wheels’ restaurateurs have had to be creative and ingenious with their menus, which has resulted in the emergence of a new breed of quirky and eclectic cuisine.
A graduate of Syracuse University, communications designer Steph Lin devised this concept project while still a student.
“Edible flowers can add nutrition such as numerous antioxidant properties and flavonoids, to one’s diet and look beautiful on a plate. However, many people are wary of trying them and edible flowers can be hard to identify,” says the designer.
“Bud’s food truck provides an easy and accessible way for people to try edible flowers,” she adds.
