White Bear Studio Creates Branding for Prefab Startup, ‘nHouse’
White Bear Studio has deigned the logo and branding for nHouse, a new pre-fabricated housing company founded by British architect Richard Hywel Evans.
The nHouse is effectively a two storey, three-bedroom modular home made using off-site construction techniques that can then be delivered and set up pretty much anywhere.
“nHouse approached us with the foundations of a great product but they needed help communicating it visually as a brand. One feature that makes the nHouse so unique is its ‘Quad-Click’ technology that allows for quicker on-site assembly. It was important to highlight this in the branding,” explain the designers.
The newly-created visual identity therefore takes inspiration from the “minimalistic” shapes and lines of the nHouse itself, with the logomark doubling up as both a house and an “n” symbol.
Additional details include a bespoke typeface and an icon set that highlights key technological features of the nHouse.
The pared-down, monotone look “emulates the language of modern tech products like Apple”, according to White Bear Studio.
