Honda Motorcycles Debuts New Electric Brand Logo

Honda has today officially unveiled its first full-size electric motorcycle.
The Japanese company has further announced that it will be marketed under a new brand, separate from its traditional petrol-powered motorcycles.
From now on, its electric bikes will be sold simply under the "Honda" name, instead of "Honda Motorcycles", which is currently used for its internal combustion engine (ICE) models.
The new electric bike revealed today, named "WN7" ("Wind Naked 7"), is the first to feature the new Honda branding, a minimalist logotype that uses a font called "Honda Advanced Typeface".
However, the firm's famous old 'wing' logo has also been updated.
Whereas the previous design had a silver wing on a red background, the new emblem presents a simplified wing design in a monochromatic colour scheme.
Honda states that this change will help achieve harmony with various models and body colours, while conveying both "advancement and affinity".
The revised emblem also made its global debut today on the V3R900 E-Compressor Prototype at EICMA 2025, and will gradually be applied to Honda’s flagship models across product lines starting in 2026.
