R Design Creates New Identity for Cosmetics Brand, ‘Lily Lolo’
Launched back in 2005, cosmetics company Lily Lolo uses only natural, chemical free ingredients with mineral based technology. It’s carefully formulated range of make-up has developed somewhat of a cult status among certain women consumers.
In 2013 Lily Lolo felt it necessary to respond to what their customers were wanting – a more exclusive way to look and feel natural and luxurious.
London-based agency R Design was commissioned to work on the strategic repositioning and complete design overhaul of Lily Lolo including the brand’s visual identity, packaging and off-pack communications.
Dave Richmond, Creative Director and founder of R Design comments, “the original identity just wasn’t conveying the wonderful product story, or appearing premium enough for the growing number of women turning to natural beauty products for their inherent ingredient benefits and superior results”.
The new identity and brand design aims to put the focus on elegance and natural beauty as espoused in the brand essence – “flawless natural beauty”.
“Our new identity and monogram gives the brand a more luxurious and classic feel whilst retaining the natural warmth that is so true to the brand’s roots and philosophy,” comments Richmond.
