Branding Concept for Daft Punk
Turkish graphic designer and illustrator Aykut Aydoğdu has imagined this conceptual branding idea for techno music group Daft Punk.
The famous French duo who make up Daft Punk, namely, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, are almost always helmet-clad when making public appearances; their ‘roboticised’ alter-egos have become a fundamental component of the band’s visual image.
Aykut’s design therefore incorporates robotic headgear into the main logo design, and is accompanied and matched by an equally appropriate techno-futuristic wordmark.
